This payment covers the basic instruction in the INWA 10-step method to learn nordic walking. Courses are taught over four weekly sessions of 90 minutes each and are designed to give you the confidence to take your nordic walking forward.
All courses take place in locations in and around the village of Harrold, North West Bedfordshire.
This Learn2Nordic course follows the International Nordic Walking Association (INWA) 10-step method, as endorsed by British Nordic Walking. It is typically held over five 75 minute group sessions. Sometimes, depending on numbers, classes are mixed with walkers that have already completed the Learn2Nordic course.
Sessions take place in the beautiful North West Bedfordshire villages (around Harrold, Odell, Sharnbrook, Stevington and Pavenham) and other neighbouring towns and villages. Please contact me for details of specific location details (firstname.lastname@example.org or 07833113113).
Pole hire is included in the price. Please be sure to dress in clothing and footwear appropriate to an outdoor environment and weather forecast/conditions. Our walks take place along footpaths and bridleways and, especially in the Autumn and Winter months, can be muddy.
All participants must first complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire and must satisfy themselves that they are fit to undertake physical activity. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of Nordic Walking, please consult your medical practitioner before attending your first session.
